Thanks to its convenient location, the landscape's variety, and the authentic and well-maintained rural character the village of Reith has firmly established itself as Kitzbühel's renowned little neighbor. Reith is a true haven for all those in search of rest and relaxation, who don't want to do without the top-notch infrastructure and recreational facilities of the surrounding Kitzbühel Holiday Region.
Reith nestles in the lovely foothills of the Wilder Kaiser massif and is renowned for its great variety of sports and activities. While in the winter months everything is about Nordic sports, summer has a lot to offer as well: golf courses, Schwarzsee swimming lake, walking trails, cycling and mountain biking routes in abundance. Other highlights in summer are Schwarzsee lake, Gieringer Weiher pond, "Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith" golf course, Bichlach walking and cycling paradise.
Reith and its breathtaking surroundings also make a perfect holiday destination in winter. Dreamlike landscapes covered all in white, excellent ski schools, ski lift right in the village, and an infinite number of premium culture events. The "Reith bei Kitzbühel Ski School" ranks among Tirol's 16 most renowned winter sport instruction centers featuring the official Quality Award.
Varied cross-country skiing routes for both beginners and advanced, and cleared winter hiking trails offer everything a nature lover's heart could possibly desire.
